Altered Carbon
This futuristic series sees a world where humans can live forever as their consciousness is digitised and can be transferred to new bodies. The story follows Takeshi Kovacs as he looks to solve the murder of Laurens Bancroft who hired Kovacs after having his backup restored to hours before the murder.
Derren Brown is known for his unique and often controversial experiments. In this Netflix special, Brown will be asking the question of whether it’s possible to convince an ordinary person to commit murder. In an elaborate setup, actors will be putting this unsuspecting man under social pressure to push another person to their death.
This provocative drama centres around a tragic incident that resulted in the accidental death of a young African-American boy at the hands of a police officer. As he buries the truth, KJ Harper, an assistant prosecutor works to get to the bottom of the case, seeking justice for the young boy and his grieving family.
90s kids are known for being a particularly nostalgic generation, so this series is sure to be a hit! Everything Sucks! follows a group of high school students in 1996 Oregon as they navigate high school life together in an age before high-speed internet and Facebook.
David Letterman is a household name in the states, but perhaps not so well know here in the UK. As a former chat show host, he has met with some of the best-known names in his career, and with his new series, everything will be stripped away to leave just Letterman and his guests to chat as we get to know these celebrities a little better.
