2014 was a fantastic year for film buffs with releases such as Guardians of the Galaxy, 12 Years a Slave and The Wolf of Wall Street, to name but a few. Luckily, for all you movie fanatics out there, 2015 is set to be another great year full of brilliant films. We’ll have a quick look at some of the top titles to keep your eyes peeled for.
Avengers: Age of Ultron
Joss Whedon returns again with the next instalment of The Avengers, and we cannot wait! Our favourite superheroes will be reunited once again to battle the dastardly villain, Ultron, played by James Spader. This movie is sure to have plenty of excitement to thrill audiences time and time again.
Jurassic World
It’s been a long time coming, but we’re finally getting another sequel to the brilliant Jurassic Park franchise. With a great cast headed up by Guardians of the Galaxy star, Chris Pratt, we’re sure this 2015 release will feature an impressive array of special effects and CGI dinosaurs.
Star Wars Episode VII
One of our favourite franchises of all time is being reawakened in 2015, and we’re too excited for words. The Disney produced film will return our favourite characters to us, with original cast members such as Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill. Whether you love it or hate it, this one is sure to get everyone talking.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2
The final instalment in the franchise is sure to draw in huge audiences as fans wait to see what will happen to Katniss and co. Of course, for some of us who have read (and re-read) the books, we’re just wondering how the dark nature of the final half of the book will be portrayed with a 12A rating. This will also be our last opportunity to see the late Philip Seymour Hoffman perform on the big screen.
